I look at everything through the eyes of beauty. I am intrigued by the simplest object. A bottle, a blackened silhouette of a person. I paint images of things I love. I paint for my soul. I have a studio in lower Manhattan just blocks from all the sadness. I keep my windows wide open blasting Broadway show tunes and painting the night away.
— Peter Glebo

As an intern for the American Theatre Wing, Peter Glebo’s very first New York City job assignment was to read the New York Times to then President of the Theater Hall of Fame, Earl Blackwell. It was through Mr. Blackwell that he was introduced to the legendary performer and artist Tommy Tune. Little did he know at the time that Tommy would play an integral part in his future as an artist.

After studying interior design in London, Peter returned to New York where he accepted a position as assistant to the creative director at Chanel. Eventually his friendship was reignited with Tommy and Peter now serves as President and CEO of Tommy Tune, Inc.

Peter’s work has been seen in the windows and on exhibit at Neiman Marcus Boston and at the corporate headquarters of Revlon.

Gallery shows include the National Arts Club, Carpenter Center for the Visual Arts at Harvard University, Art Basel Miami and Canvas Fine Arts Boston.

His work has been featured on NBC Open House and in the pages of Elle Decor Magazine, the New York Times and the Wall Street Journal.

Peter continues his studies towards his Bachelor of Arts at Harvard University.
